Old school grandfather Artie ( Billy Crystal ), who is accustomed to calling the shots, meets his match when he and his eager-to-please wife Diane( Bette Midler ) agree to
babysit their three grand kids when their type-A helicopter parents go away for work.
But when 21st century problems collide with Artie and Diane's old school methods of
tough rules, lots of love and old-fashioned games, it's learning to bend - and not
holding your ground - that binds a family together.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — "The schmaltz is piled on thick, and if the comedy were any broader it would require an Imax screen, but still there’s something touching about how hard Billy Crystal and Bette Midler hustle to peddle the threadbare material that makes ‘‘Parental Guidance’’ a perfectly tolerable, if uninspired, movie going experience...."

As you can see----> reviews are mixed.... .
Parental Guidance
A fun 'vacation' movie to bring your kids to see on a cold winter afternoon. There were some funny moments, mixed in with the dull moments, But enough exciting scenes to keep your eyes on the screen. There is something in the move everyone young and old can relate to.
